Leukemia

Leukemia is a cancer of the blood or bone marrow and is characterized by an abnormal proliferation (production by multiplication) of blood cells, usually white blood cells (leukocytes). It is part of the even broader group of diseases called hematological neoplasms. Leukemia is clinically and pathologically subdivided into several large groups. One of them is division between its acute and chronic forms :

Acute leukemia is characterized by the rapid increase of immature blood cells. Acute forms of leukemia are the most common forms of leukemia in children.

Chronic leukemia is distinguished by the excessive build up of relatively mature, but still abnormal, white blood cells. Chronic leukemia mostly occurs in older people, but can theoretically occur in any age group.

Servical Cancer

Carsinoma serviks or uterus cancer is the number two killer of women in the world after breast cancer. Even in Indonesia, the cervical cancer was ranked first. Cervical cancer who had been to the advanced stadium more often causes death in relatively quick time period.

On the condition precancer, generally do not have symptoms and no pain. Cancer can be detected using the Pap smear.

These are risk factors for the cervical cancer:

1. Sex at a young age or young age at marriage

2. Often change pair sexual

3. Smoking

4. Defisiensi nutrition

5. Chronic trauma such as childbirth in serviks, infection, and chronic irritation
